Awesome timings and good stability
Strengths: Runs on very agressive 2-2-2-5 timings at 2.65V which is 0.15V under manufacturer specs.
Weakness: Inceasing voltage did not make a huge improvement in stability on agressive overclocking.
I had been keeping an eye on these for a while because of great reviews all around. I finally was able to purchase them when I saw a $70 Rebate bringing them to a bit under $40 - which is an absolute DEAL for any 1GB 3200 DDR400 Kit, not to say on one offering the specs from Crucial Ballistix. In the end my memory bandwidth improved about 100 MB/S on SiSoft Sandra and my latency dropped over 7%....

Great Performance!
Strengths: great overclocker, stable performance, not too expensive for the performance you get
Weakness: likes volts
I purchased a set of these and clocked up to 260/520 immediately with no issues. I will push it up a bit more when I get a chance to really find its max. I am very happy with this RAM kit and will buy another. Just make sure that you have a motherboard that can provide at least 2.8 volts to memory and possibly more if you plan to push the RAM to its potential.

Disappointed
Strengths: Almost works at specified timings.
Weakness: Didn't work at specified timings, even at DDR400. Poor customer support in trying to arrange an RMA.
While using this RAM I have experienced intermittant crashes in windows applications as well as errors in memtest86. When billed as a 'performance' product, and at this price, RAM should run 100% error free. Tried to arrange an RMA using cross-ship with Crucial. NOPE! That's only for their direct customers. So now I'm out 2 weeks while the RAM travels back and forth to Idaho.

Crucial Ballistix....It's not just about bullets anymore.
Strengths: Seems like it is compatable with just about every motherboard out there. Compares to much more expensive memory. Good reviews and reputation. Rock solid and stable. Heat spreaders.
Weakness: Me....I don't know enough about the effects of changing latency and timing to speak with certainty as to how well it overclocks.
I received a a gig (2 sticks) of this memory for my very first build. The rig is mainly used for gaming, burning, and photo/video editing. I researched the components of this build for over a year. The memory choice was one of the most intensive segments of researching the components of the build. It boiled down to good reviews and what was universally compatable with the majority of good 939 pin...

Crucial Ballistix
Strengths: Heat sinks, looks nice, Dual channel, had a nice rebate when I got them
Weakness: some bad rumors about them , so far no problems.
Just used them, no over clocking or timing changes, ran fine at my MB's default setting. Didi not try and do anything setting changes. I wonder if the premature failures some talk of are caused from pushing them past spec?
