Live Fast, Die Young
Strengths: Fast
Weakness: Extremely unreliable
My 3rd drive has just gone bad, just clicks. Each drive lasted 4 months. Enough. I don't care if it's in warranty. I hope a Hitachi drive will do better.

Careful- little support from Seagate
Strengths: Quiet - lots of space
Weakness: If you by this for certain model Thinkpads it may not work. Little support from Seagate, may not be compatible with newest Intel chipsets
It returns an error code of 2010 saying the drive needs a firmware update. I got it from Lenovo - it did not work and Seagate is clueless

100GB MOMENTUS 7200.1 SATA/150 2.5IN 8MB 7200
Strengths: high capacity for laptop users, quiet
Weakness: serial ATA-150 and only 8MB of cache
For the mobile users this is a solution that will allow them to carry a lots of data on their primary hard drive. This quiet internal hard drive will leave everyone who uses it very satisfied

Reliable?
Strengths: Speed. Not much hotter than a 5400rpm.
Weakness: Reliability may be a problem.
I've seen 2 of these go bad, both after about 1.5 months, both in the same way. Clicks and squeals, and the drive is no longer recognized by the computer. One drive came with a Dell laptop, the other I purchased for my MacBook. Of course it's too small a sample for sweeping conclusions, but it's a 100% failure rate for me so far. :^{
