Very satisfied
Strengths: Put this processor in my home built PC. Works really well with Quake 4 and with a thermaltake silenX processor cooler, heating up hasn't been an issue for me at all.
Weakness: Noticed some slowing down issues with downloading big files from the internet but I think that's related to my IDE hard drive and not because of processor performance.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Was originally toying with the idea of getting a CORE 2 DUO but a huge price difference ultimately prompted me to buy this processor. Hasn't been disappointed, overall performance has been pretty fast and stable with daily chores (browsing, image processing) and with processor intensive applications (Quake 4).

PENTIUM D 950 DUAL CORE PROCESSOR, 3.4GHz, 800MHz FSB, Sock 775
Strengths: I've had none faster! MY Dimension 9100 with 3GB of ram screams!
Weakness: Price but it is comming down rapidly
The D-950 is the best band for the buck on the market today.
The D-955/965 are price well beyond sanity. Plus they have a 1024 FSB and if you use 1024 FSB RAM you will need another pot of money?
The D-950 IS 3.4GHz while the D-955 is 3.46, and yet almost 3 times the price of the D950

Pentium D 950 - 3.4GHz
Strengths: Fast! Lot's of onboard cache.
Weakness: Heat - use a good cooler.
This CPU really delivers what it is advertised as. I used an Intel motherboard so I am unable to overclock it, but benchmarks for most tests prove very good over the Pentium 4 3.4GHz single core I tested with the same rig. I would buy again! (I also used the factory included Intel heatsink/fan because the warranty is three years if you stick with tis stock cooler.)

D 950 Flys
Strengths: Very Fast. Overclocks well.
Weakness: Makes for a good room heater if being streesed.
Using the D950 in a Abit Aw8-Max with 2 Gb of Corsair ram. Bumped the clock up from 3.4 to 3.8 in cmos ugru with no problems. Tried 4.0 and it got flakey. For what I am using it for, it does the job.

Dual Core review
Strengths: Superfast, great price
Weakness: Heat
This is a super fast processer at a great price. At the time I couldn't see myself paying 2-3 times the amount for the next highest version. As long as you upgrade the cpu cooler, I was able to overclock it to a safe 3.75 ghz without much of a rise in temp.
