BFG 7600GT

Strengths: Benchmarks show it surprisingly close to 7800GT. Dual DVI and comes with two adapters. Already BFG overclocked and ready for more. Replaces the 6600GT as the new mid-price champion. HDR compatible.

Weakness: 128-bit, so it loses some ground at high resolutions with FSAA compared to 256-bit cards, but those cost more too. Can do HDR but FPS suffers like with FSAA.

The new budget champion has been crowned. Any card better than this costs substantially more. Might be the first card that actually makes SLI cost-effective and worthwhile. 128-bit has little FPS effect if you don't turn on options like FSAA.

Nice and Cheap mid range Video card

Strengths: Good features for price and Less expensive that other GeForce 7600 GT. Works flawlessly on High Quality Quake4 game, no hicups, displays nicely on 1440:900 resolution. Better than ATI9800.

Weakness: 2 years warranty and limited support hours compare to other BFG brand which a lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support

The stock fan on the card is small and very loud at full speed. Heatsink doesn't cover all of the ram chips. I had average GPU temp 65 degrees. After I installed the Zalman VGA cooler the temp dropped to 42 degrees and very quiet.

BFG 7600 GT

Strengths: Fast card for the price. Doesn't require additional power like the higher model. Dual DVI ports 256MB DDR3 memory

Weakness: Not as fast as the 7900 GTX

Major upgrade from my Ati 9800 Pro. I bought the Ati 9800 Pro when it first came out for DOOM III and it wasn't playable at 1600x1200 but the 7600 GT changed that. I can now play it at 1600x1200 ultra quality. Not the top card on the list but a great card for the price/performance ratio.

BFG 7600 GT oc 256mb pci-e sli

Strengths: Everything, speed, qualify, price and shear pleasure of gaming with a real nice card.

Weakness: I could not get two at the same time. That's my weakness but the card has none that I've noticed

Can I wait to get this puppy 'sli'ed? No I cannot. This really is a great buy loads of bangs for bucks, gtr2 looks fabulous, ut2004 is stunning, every game I have put on since buying this card looks and plays super fast and it will take a nuclear bomb to get the smile off my face. Got to get another just to see how far it can be pushed.

Please ignore Posted under the wrong model - BFG 7600GT

Strengths: Acceptable performance for most games Nicely priced

Weakness: Stock HSF noisy when ramped up Flicker on transparent windows when dragging overlay surfaces

Please ignore -

This is a nice card for the money. It can handle most games today, has dual DVI and a hardware SLI connector.

Noticed nvidia drivers made my transparent trillian window flicker when I drag an overlay surface (most any video player) around, even if paused. Didn't happen on any catalyst driver on my x800gto.

Note: No SLI bridge included.
