What not to love - A gamers dream, a media center...

Strengths: Silent heat pipe design on north and south bridge chips, nVidia 590 chips, Award bios, Vista compatible

Weakness: Two GeForce cards in SLI block other PCI slots

Pop in 2-4 gig of quality DDR II 800 RAM (I used Mushkin Performance) with an X2 processor, and a nice PCI nVidia 7950 and watch the fun as others turn green with envy! Enjoy a true visual experience that will tickle you silly while gaming! Oops! Don't forget the dual core processor will run business programs side by side - even while you game. The 590 nVidia is designed to handle the load, and...

Asus M2N32-SLI Wireless Edition Motherboard

Strengths: Stability, features, BIOS

Weakness: Picky with memory

Very good motherboard. I had a problem, trying to use Kinston HyperX modules, and couldn't boot even into the BIOS. After researching the web found, that it needs newer modules, supporting AM2. Installed Corsair XMS2 2GB PC2-6400 DDR2 and voila! Processor (4200+ dual core) overclocked 10%, everything is working, but some drivers are were in beta version, now all available from Asus and NVidia...

The Best You Can Get

Strengths: Includes many connectors on the board, Dual X16 PCI Express slots

Weakness: Pretty Expensive

This motherboard has everything you could possibly want. The dual PCI Express slots BOTH run at x16 when in SLI. The only downside is in your wallet, as it will cost you upwards of $200 (at the time of this review).

My 1st Asus motherboard

Strengths: Has a 590 NVidia chipset,a AM2 socket, wireless networking and both SLI slots are full 16 X

Weakness: picky about RAM, and a little cramped (theres a lot on this board )

This is the 1st Asus motherboard I've owned and now it will most likely not be the last. I read the manual and found my OCZ 2 gigs PC-6400 RAM was not listed. But with help from a OCZ tech I got it working. (Email them, they will help you.) After that, everything was alot easier. I had no trouble updating BIOs. and the fanless heatpipe helps in the noise dept. I'm using 2 HHD in RAID with XP,and...

Good Board - plays well with Vista...but not so sure...

Strengths: Vista works great, Probe utility is cool, very easy to configure RAID (includes RAID 5), VERY easy 'auto' overclocking tools - gives you an option to let the BIOS figure out the dirty work...

Weakness: Didn't have great results with Vista x64

I am pretty impressed so far - out of the box with a x32 install of Vista, everything worked. Only thing that I had to install were video drivers for my 8800 and the Asus Probe utility, which is cool. I'm using RAID 1 striping and Vista had the RAID drivers built in the box so I didn't even have to supply any drivers to get it to see the RAID array. Nice. I did try install x64 Vista and had a...

Rock Solid Motherboard, Great Features

Strengths: - Good layout (only caveat is SLI wastes some PCI slots, leaving you only one remaining for a sound card). - Easy to configure (auto-identified my RAM, which was on the motherboard's QVL list).

Weakness: - Doesn't support nTune ability, where the Foxconn nForce 590 SLI board does.

Bought the motherboard from CompUSA (used a 20% off any unadvertised item coupon to get the cost down to $192+tax w/o shipping). Dropped in new processor (X2 4200+), 2x1GB matched pair Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 (PC6400C4), and a Gigabyte 7600 GT Silent Pipe II video card. Motherboard posted first try, and I was able to use the RAID tool to setup a Striped (RAID 0) array across my 2 SATA drives....

Don't expect help with memory problems

Strengths: Latest of everything

Weakness: Memory issues

I purchased 667 Kingtston memory that was listed by both Kingston and Asus as being compatible with the board. It is, but only if I back it down in the BIOS to 533. Kingston said it might be the power supply- I upped to 550 watts with no change, ASUS said (in essence) too bad.

All you can eat baby

Strengths: 1) Uses new DDR2 Ram 2) Heatpipe cooling 3) Nvidia SLI 590 Chipset 4) Built in Wireless

Weakness: 1) Only compatible with AM2 CPU's 2) Cannot disable Wireless networking.

This board comes chock full of features. Just about everything you could want. Supports up to 8 GB's of DDR2 ram, and has built in wireless netowrking (although I didn't need it and there's no way to turn it off in the BIOS). Asus support for that problem was garbage where they just ended up ignoring me and told me to wait for the next bios upgrade. Anyway, Asus even supports liquid cooling by...

Awesome Board

Strengths: I love the cutomization on every little thing

Weakness: none

This board is one of the best out there by far. It allows me to run 2 nvidia sli cards and the board is also nforce 590 sli. Being able to overclock every single aspect of every feature is crazy!!!! I can also personalize the loading screen and set up a morning wake up call with the comp off.
