Strengths: solid performance , quiet ,

Weakness: none that i'm aware of

ok writing this in jan 2006 is sort of mute , but , this card still gives great performance and runs solid . my pc is 3.2 gig intel , asus mb . 2 gig ddr ram running dual channel , 800 mhz fsb . i play bf2 in high mode and still have great pings . i think the lifetime of this card is easily extendable .

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: Solid Performance, No artifacting, Can max out Doom 3

Weakness: Only Pixel Shader 2.0 technology but card will be old by the time software is written for it anyways. Also performance is CPU driven

Had a 9800 pro 128 mb and got 5443 on 3dmark 2k3 changed out the cards and got a 9258 out of the box with this card, only reason i didnt get higher then 10,000 is cause i am running a amd 2600xp cpu. nice to know i will get more from my card with next cpu upgrade. runs solid in doom 3 and i have had no problems.

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: high overclockable, extremely stable, and game improvement is just amazing, what more can u ask for?

Weakness: my system cannot keep up with this video card.

my system cannot keep up with this video card....this is such a fast card, i can't believe that this card can almost double my 3dmark03 score. running doom 3 at high setting is no problem for me.

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: Low heat output. ONLY TAKES UP ONE AGP SLOT (no PCI slot is needed) Needs much less power then other cards. Smooth clean and seamless graphics. FINALLY AND BEST OF ALL THE 256 MB ram on board!

Weakness: None so far... and i can almost be sure that this card won't for another 2 years. :-)

If you want the most awesome graphics card on the market...this is the card for you. As a gamer this is a dream come true. I can crank up all of the features on any game and it still runs perfect without even breaking a sweat. Also for all of you people who are thinking about making a compromise on your graphics card... remember this is the most important part for a gaming computer.

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: Speed. Features. Memory size (256 Mb). Fan noise.

Weakness: Pipeline only 12 pipes, vice 16 for the X800 XT. No software bundle (other than drivers, etc.) Was hard to find one in stock, but that should be improving. No support for Shader 3.0.

This is a quality product -- easy to install, only requiring one slot and one power connector. The fan on this is silent -- I have an Antec Sonata case with a WD Raptor hard driver and I don't hear the card above the minimal background from my system. As to speed, this card rocks in comparison to 9800 Pro and earlier from ATI. It appears to be only marginally slower than an NVidia 6800 GT, at...

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: High FPS. Great driver support. Supurb image quality. High resolutions. TV-Out. Good software package.

Weakness: Price can break your wallet if you are not careful.

This card is a huge improvement over my 9800 Pro 128mb. The Image quality is awesome, and the FPS is there to boot. There is no tradoff for image quality or speed because you get both. This card is a definate winner in every aspect. If you can find a way to span your payments over time this card is worth it. The high price tag will deteur some people but this is a must for any enthousiast that is...

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: Absolutely awesome card. Blows away my old Geforce FX 5950 without ANY doubt... I can't believe they could make a Radeon better than then 9800xt, but they've done it!

Weakness: Yeah..right.. It's cheaper than a Geforce FX 6800, and it is a standard sized card. Weakness..only in my knees.

Just awesome...u gotta have it to know. I have to fill up space here....so says Pricegrabber.com.. but oh well. If you are already reading this section, that means that I didn't convince you previously, or you are a pissy Geforce person who is mad because this card rocks. Get over it. I've owned almost all the Geforce breeds and Radeon breeds... the ATI is superior (at least for now), so get over...

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: Excellent Speed and graphic ability. The color and light rendering is incredible.

Weakness: Not a single thing I can think of.

I bought this video card with my new Alienware computer (the best gaming system out there) and I never realized how much detail I had been missing out on from other video cards. It's so nice to be able to run EVERYTHING at MAX resolution and detail. This video card is a must for serious gamers.

ATI RADEON X800 PRO Graphics Adapter

Strengths: What more could you ask of a card: powerful, inconspicuous, and draws very little wattage

Weakness: None specifically (details follow)

I was definitely excited about this card. In fact, I was originally holding out for the XT, but the fact that it's rarer than platinum made me settle on this card. Even then, it was a bit of a hassle to find it. When it finally arrived, I noticed something odd; the ports on the back seemed to be a little off-center. Chalking it up to an unlucky break, I continued building my computer. When it...
