Fantastic Card... Needs Better Price

Strengths: One of the best cards in the market DirectX10 support with Vista Easy Overclocking Whisper Quiet Fan

Weakness: Difficult to find waterblocks to accomodate

I had high expectations for this card as I upgraded from a 7950GT. For the price alone can buy you a budget end computer so its definately not for the budget minded types. Your other options would be for the Ultra or the GTS. After reading several reviews about the GTS being able to overclock to get its speed up to the GTX model, you have to wonder if its really worth it. However, looking at the...

GeForce 8800 GTX Video Card is Awesome

Strengths: Amazing game settings without hesitating. Runs super high frame rates at any setting. It will run my future 30" Dell in native resolution:) Fastest card right now and many benchmark tests prove it.

Weakness: Huge, will not fit in my current dell demension 5150. I will have to change the cpu cooler to get it to fit, so it is currently in an HP which it fits ok in. Price is high, but similar to 1900's CF.

This card is the ultimate card so far. It is also very large, a few inches longer then my ATI X1900XTX. It would not fit in my Dell dimension 5150 due to the cpu cooler being in the way, so it is in my girlfriends HP A1314N until I get my computer build done in the next 1-3 months or till I get a new cpu cooler in my Dell (lucky her). She had a midgrade card and ran WOW on medium high settings at...

Best card right now

Strengths: Hands down the fastest card right now. Twice as good as any other previous model.

Weakness: Big and expensive. No 6 to 4 pin molex converters included. No extras in package.

I purchased this card to replace my older Geforce 6800 gt. I remember at the time, that card was much bigger than any other out there. Now this card is almost twice the size and width of that card. Since the fan is much bigger than the smaller 6800 GT fan, the whole card is much quieter. It is no longer the loudest component of my computer. The card is amazingly fast. I got this to power a 30"...

XFX 8800GTX Rocks!

Strengths: The fastest card out there right now. Chews up games and spits out frames. Overclocks easily.

Weakness: Needs lots of electricity. BIG. Produces heat. Probably will be obsolete in 6 months.

This was the most expensive part of my new computer build, but I think it was worth it. It plays all of my games on my 24" monitor at native resolution (1920x1200) with all the settings maxed out. It's awesome. It will overclock too, but there really isn't much need right now. Running 2 of these in SLI would just be insane. You have to feed this card lots of power, and it takes of lots of space....

Couldn't ask for more. Well maybe cheaper!

Strengths: DX 10 support, graphics processing, more fps during play, overal great card.

Weakness: DVI ports are next to each other. makes it hard to plus larg DVI cables in. Also it's extremely long. I had to change my case cause the card was about two inches too long.

I have two monitors and trying to plug both monster DVI cables into the card takes effort. They are way to close together. I think the analog output (S-video) port should have been placed in the center and the DVI out on either side. As for the length i did not realize how long it was. It's absolutely huge. Make sure you have a case to fit it or at least move the hard drives out of the way which...
