So far, reliable. Can't be heard over my case fans, with about the same level of noise as my Raptor. Note there is only a sata power connection, no molex connector. If comparing apples to oranges, this is not as fast as a Raptor, but as a storage drive, works flawlessly.

Weakness: A friend who helped install the drive into my computer said that he had to run some software to partition the drive properly because it was too big a drive. I'm very happy with this brand. I have an old computer that still runs with a 40 gig Maxtor drive and it runs great. I haven't had this drive long enough to say if it will function as well, but my friend who is in the computer networking and repair profession swears by the brand.
