OCZ quality at a great price

Strengths: Overkill for most needs, same internals as the 700W version, sleeved, nice finish and quality from a top manufacturer, 120mm fan is quiet, very reasonable price

Weakness: Not enough SATA connectors, power switch doesn't light up

I got this for $40 after rebate, which is an outstanding price for what this is. How much more I would pay for this, I don't know, since realistically it's more than I'll need, even with my high-end (non-SLI) rig. Good buy

Strengths: Very good power supply from a trustworthy manufacturer. Large 120mm fan that is quiet.

Weakness: Only has 3 SATA connectors. 4 12V rails

This is a tremendous deal with the MIR. The PSU is power efficient, does not put out much heat and has a nice 120mm fan on the top. I would recommend this power supply. The max efficiency on this PSU is over 80% which is nice but it has 4 12V rails which chop up the power a bit, so if you have a power hungry vid card then this PSU might not be able to get the power to this card that would make...

stealthxstream 600w power supply

Strengths: lots of connectors

Weakness: a little loud at times

So far the OCZ StealthXStream 600w Power Supply has powered up Q6600 & 8800 GT video card with no problems. It has lots of connectors. At times the Power Supply does seem a bit loud. For the price and the power the OCZ power supply seems to be a reasonable purchase.

More than sufficient for most needs

Strengths: Quiet, good for SLI setups

Weakness: None really

Put this in a home-baked system with two 8800GT video cards in SLI, two hard drives, usual optical drives, sound card---doing great. Plenty of connectors for my purposes. No complaints on this one.

StealthXStream 600W Power Supply

Strengths: Price point, power, sleeved cables

Weakness: Limited cables, loud fan

This power supply is adequate for mid level builds. The cables are too short for bottom mounted cases. There are not enough sata cables for new systems with sata optical drives and multiple hard drives. The fan is too loud for HTPC builds. The power is more than adequate for mid sized systems and the lack of cables may be a plus in some systems with a small number of peripherals.

Strengths: Reputable company, good warranty, reliable power. Great price.

Weakness: Could use more SATA connectors

Unless you're a hardcore gamer with multiple high-end video cards in your computer, this power supply is going to be plenty of power at a great price. Also, I've always had a great experience with OCZ products. Could be a little quieter but not too loud. My biggest complaint is that it only has 3 SATA connecters. But you could aways get adapters to remedy that.

Great value again from OCZ

Strengths: Powers an Abit IP35 Pro, X1800xt 512mb, E2160 all monsterly OCed!

Weakness: None, as usual

OCZ rebates have been great. OCZ power supplies are typically quality. I've had one fail on me in the past, but their warranty turn-around service is top-notch and fast. I think it was 1-2 weeks from when I sent one in until I received the replacement. This PSU so far has been quiet, and stable.

Good economy power supply

Strengths: Flexible, sleeved cables with standard array of connectors. Fairly quiet.

Weakness: short main connector for motherboard; relatively few peripheral connectors

Heavy and quiet. Very good for a small case where flexibility of cables is important; likely candidate would be a HTPC. 2 4-pin connectors and 1 of the 2 6-pin connectors has an adapter to make it 8-pins. 4 ICE connectors and 3 SATA connectors (and one floppy connector for that retro feel. Got mine with a rebate and am very satisfied.

Stealth X Stream 600w Power Supply

Strengths: -Same design of two other good high end PSU: OCZ GameXstream 700W and Zalman ZM600-HP but cost LESS. -High efficiency -Easy to setup

Weakness: -Only three SATA connectors. -Need to see efficiency higher than 80% when delivering at 600W -Absence of a MOV

This is a great Power Supply for a great price. OCZ StealthXstream 600W has a 120mm fan, two video card power connectors for SLI and Crossfire. It has same features that you can find on high end PSU: 120mm fan, active PFC, and high efficiency. Yes, it did live up to my expectations.
