Strengths: Good feature set/high quality components

Weakness: Must remove "Crazy Cool" heatsink from back side of motherboard to use many aftermarket CPU heatsinks.

Once removed, it is required to attach screw nuts (supposed to be included with the motherboard) to keep the north bridge heatsink fixed to the board. You'll probably not get the screw nuts in your package. I didn't. Further, Gigabyte informed me that the warranty will be voided if I order and use the screw nuts from them. Nowhere in the package documentation or product manual is this warranty...

Great Motherboard

Strengths: Good Looking Board Great Copper Heat piping Fan-less High Overclocking Potential

Weakness: None so far hopefully wont have any :)

Some Ram for this board will need a voltage increase, default is 1.8v. The ram I have needs 2.2v default. Just a small glitch but it will say DDR18v Fail in the bios settings.
Everything runs great.

Impressive motherboard

Strengths: Works great, beautiful construction, excellent audio, lots of extras

Weakness: Intel stock cooler hard to mount, EasyTune5 requires Windows Vista administrator password when booting.

The Gigabyte P35-DQ6 is performing extremely well. The Crazy Cool is actually a heatsink under the board, which would have to be removed if you are using a non-stock Intel cooler. The socket sat a little off the board, which made installing the nylon pins in the Intel stock cooler difficult. You have to push down hard on two diagonal sides with the board on the plastic packaging. When installing...

9-way Intel P35 motherboard round-up

Anyone looking at building a new desktop system should not look any further than Intel Core 2 processors, and when time comes to pick a platform you should have Intel's own P35 chipset in mind as it officially offers 1333MHz FSB support and will be compatible with upcoming 45nm processors. This translates in a fairly 'future-proof' platform, with some models currently available supporting DDR3...
