RMAed to ASUS, should be back in couple weeks.
Otherwise, Vista Ultimate x86 was running well, all drivers (but eSATA) worked, 6600 dual core OCed to 2.8 with Zalman cooler, 4x1Gb Crucial Balistix 8500 were running 5-5-5-15 1066 without any issues, but couldn't make them run at 1T instead of 2T - motherboard wouldn't POST.

Strengths: tons of features. 3 PCI slots, 2 PCI Express*16, 2 PCI Express*1, 6 SATA on board, 2 SATA external, ......and of cause, wireless. It has decent upgrade potential such as DDR2 1066, 1333 MHz CPUs.

Weakness: not compatible with next generation DDR3 memory. needs better Quality control. A quick start guide will be nice. SATA cables are believed to be low quality. No PS/2 mouse interface.

Overall it is a very nice board. Asus update BIOS like a crazy hamster (this proves they are really working hard to push this product into market). in a very short time this mobo will mature and become the mainstream.

Strengths: Impressive built quality, cooling, complete board

Weakness: price

I received this mobo in the mail and immediately was impressed by its built quality. I am still in the building mode, so in terms of performance I would have to update later, but I am looking forward to OC'ing my 1066 E6600 to at least 1333.

Great MoBo -- P5K Deluxe WiFi-AP

Strengths: Dozens of features, many more than I'm currently using. Fast! NO problem using low CAS RAM (full 4GB w/ 32bit Vista). Bios are a breeze. Very Good Tech Support. It's an ASUS!

Weakness: None for this mobo that I've seen. Wish I had more time to "play" with it.

Like it even better than my last ASUS mobo, which is why I bot ASUS again. After using this board, I'll buy ASUS for life. Controls multiple fans, which makes for a quiet & cool rig. Included SATA cables come with a "right angle" connector to fit under long/large video cards. Like it even better than my last ASUS mobo, which is why I bot ASUS again. After using this board, I'll buy ASUS for life. Controls multiple fans, which makes for a quiet & cool rig. Included SATA cables come with a "right angle" connector to fit under long/large video cards.

Running a Quad core 9450, CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB) SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400), RAID 1 w/ Western Digital 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3 HDDs, ASUS SATA 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe, ZIP-100 & 3.5" Floppy in an Antec Sonata III ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply. Absolutely NO problems from this mobo -- all components work together just fine, the first time.

A great overclock motherboard

Strengths: (1) powerful BIOS setting; (2) WI-FI; (3) 2 Gigabit Ethernet; (4) Fanless Cooling System; (4) SATA IDE Ports

My Intel E6850 magically upgraded from 3.0Ghz to 3.6GHz. The included tool "PC Probe II" is very useful to monitor and alarm CPU temperature and fan speed before it gets burned. I also like the embedded WI-FI card. It has a cute external antenna with magnetic base, so it is easy to mount it on my PC case and the connection distance to my wireless router is extended. I do not even need to try my other 2 embedded Gigabit Ethernet cards.

The software instillation is not fully satisfying. Somehow, there is no progress bar, so I did not know how long it will take and how many percentages it has been installed. I once misunderstood the installation was frozen and turned PC off because it looked endless.
