LeadTek 6800GT AGP

Strengths: 256MB GDDR3, 265-bit bandwidth, 16 x pixel pipes, massive all-copper HS

Weakness: see below

I bought this card from Newegg Dec'04 and it worked flawlessly for several months. However, about 2 months ago, it started idling very hot. The NVIDIA driver breaks in regularly to report that the card is too hot (often 120C!) This really surprised me because I doubt I could get a better aftermarket HSF than what comes with this card. Considering how well it worked for the first several months I...

Leadtek GeForce 6800GT Video Card

Strengths: This card rocks. Plays everything I throw at it. Farcry, HL2, top settings etc. Very quiet fan, huge copper heatsink, 256-bit, 256MB memory. Good games that come with it in retail box version.

Weakness: none known(maybe price)

This card is incredible. Quiet fan, huge copper heatsink to keep the temp down, top notch graphics. Definitely a card to get if you want it to last you a while when all the newer games come out. Plus it's great on all existing games. Definitely worth it if you can afford it. Prices are coming down quite a bit too lately.

Turned to crap within a year... Leadtek service is...

Strengths: Latest technology, shading effects, supports all the latest graphic effects, price to performance ratio, needed for 1600 * 1200 3D apps. 3DMark03(12900),3DMark 05 (5600),Aquamark3 (65000) on a P4 3.2

Weakness: Large size, can't SLI card later which I think none of the AGP cards can, need a decent power supply 350Watt+ although my brother's generic $20 400W P/S with no problems.

I have a BFG 6800GT and just bought this Leadtek for my brother's PC. This is a monster size card with the included heat sync/fan which may deter some however we had no problems mounting. Default clock is 350/1000 however if you check the NET and download coolbits you will find that this clocks at around 410/1100 which is a 10-15% speed increase without any hardware modifications. Nice gain for...

Leadtek GeForce 6800GT Video Card

Strengths: Mega Huge Copper Extreme Heavy Heatsink, no other can compare!

Weakness: Mega huge heatsink nearly block the second PCI slot!

Easy and safe install, (safe install?) very good design bracket cover cooling fan and handle, this can prevent damage when install graphic card by using electrostatic hand. About performance and compatible, it can perform very well on my old system KT333 AGP4X, and NForce2 Ultra 400 mobo, very powerful GPU I ever use 1600X1200 Max 4XAA 8XAF, Half Life2 Doom3 UFSU2, perform very smooth frame rate...

Leadtek GeForce 6800GT Video Card

Strengths: Superb performance, very good heatsink/fan

Weakness: None so far

Great performance for the price, solid heatsink and fan without being loud. This card has a great heatsink on it made out of copper, and the fan on it is not very loud. I would not call it silent, but it is quiet enough for me to keep it in my silenced computer. The performance of this card is great. I bought it to play World of Warcraft at a higher resolution. I now play at 1280x1024 without any...

Leadtek GeForce 6800GT Video Card

Strengths: Affordable, high performance for almost all your high-end graphic needs

Weakness: needs supplemental power, loud fan, manufacturer BIOS does not make use of the built-in temperature monitor

Installation a breeze. Just don't forget to plug-in the supplemental power on the card. So far I've ran Battlefield 2, Doom 3, Brothers In Arms, both KoTOR games, and Tiger Woods 2005 on the highest settings with no troubles. Not as fast as the 6800 series (obviously) but your best bang-for-the-buck option.

Leadtek GeForce 6800GT Video Card

Strengths: Huge copper heatsink, quiet fan and cooled well!

Weakness: took out a PCI slot, heavy!

I got this card from newegg which is a really beauty. The GPU temp idled around 50 degree and 60 underload. I did not tried to OC it since the card itself performs well! Played CS:S with highest setting and got smooth pictures. But it's quite odd at the stress test, I got only 58 fps which pars with a friend's 9800pro. Thought it might be my CPU(2400+) limited.

OverClock Crazy

Strengths: Great overclocker

Weakness: Too Bulky

It is a great board with good overclock capability. I got it to 4025 with 3DMark 05 without artifacts. It will get hot quickly when there is a heavy video demand (lots of changes in the scene). The card is bulky and it took up the full two slot. An additional card is fit tight next to it. Make sure you have plenty of power in your PSU and good ventilation. I fried my 350 watts during Prince of...

Leadtek 6800GT

Strengths: Very good performance for the price, great heatsink

Weakness: Heatsink is heavy

Bought this card to replace a Radeon 9700. This card allows me to run at higher resolutions with AA and AF and still get the same frame rate. The heat sink does a great job of cooling but is HEAVY. I wouldnt recommend moving your computer around with this card installed. The card easily overclocks to Ultra levels. I run at GT speeds knowing I can get a quick upgrade down the road. I am very happy...
