GeForce 6800 Video Card (128MB, AGP 8X, DVI, 2D/3D...

Strengths: Factory Overclocked, Cool Blue LED's, Lifetime Warranty

Weakness: None

This card was a great improvement from my Radeon 9800SE. What a difference having the detail levels maxed out is. No more choppy gameplay, makes games such as Farcry, Half-Lif3 2 and Unreal Tournament 2004 fun again. Includes everything you need to get it running out of the box, power adapters and driver discs. Wouldnt hurt to download the latest set from Nvidia though. Overall, its a great card...

great video card

Strengths: good performance, overclocked out of box. possible to unlock extra pipelines to increase performance. relatively quiet fan. looks good. nvidia drivers > radeon drivers.

Weakness: none, wish i got a card with 256MB of vram but thats splitting hairs. DVI boot issue?

great video card. easy to install. it looks good (cool blue lights), the fan isnt relatively loud, and i was able to unlock an extra pixel pipe and extra vertex unit on my card for more performance. (your results may differ, but ive read it works on most cards) it's also easy to overclock (although i havnt) if you really want to squeeze more performance out of it. The only thing bad i have to say...

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: Everything! Blazing fast card and a lifetime warranty!

Weakness: May be too power-consuming for some.

This is the perfect card! I upgraded from a 5900se and can definitely see the difference. I can run Farcry and Doom 3 at the highest settings with sweet framerates. If you have a budget of under 300, the 6800oc is THE card to get!

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: Very good price after rebates. Build quality. Performance

Weakness: Still pricey for "everyday" users

I decided to finally upgrade from my Ti 4200. I was able to get this card for about $200 after rebates! Performs very well and I was able to unlock this card to get performance comparable to a 6800 GT. This card is overclocked right out of the box and has an impressive heat sink and fan setup. It also comes bundled with Farcry. Every game I've thrown at this card has run great even at high...

BFG6800oc AGP card

Strengths: Can handle any game at reasonable resolution and detail currently on the market Can be overlocked even further and potential to unlock extra pipelines and vertices

Weakness: No longer the latest and greatest, fan is not as quiet as preferred, wish it had 256mb memory

This card has suited its purpose/marketing intentions well, and at an acceptable price. Performs well with HL2/CS:Source, Doom3, and even BF2 as well as pretty much any other game out there. Sure it will get beat by the 7800 series cards, but that is to be expected. Once again BFG proves to have improved where others have chosen to simply produce a reference/no-frills card. Great for those still...

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: Decent priced, Fast Card Overclocked out of the box!, Great Heatsink/Fan with neat LED's (tho I have a closed CASE with no windows). Lifetime Warranty!!, Excellent 24/7 Customer Support.

Weakness: May be a bit too expensive for some more casual gamers

I upgraded my previous card (Radeon 9800) to this card. This card is not a terribly excessive upgrade from my last card. So far I have not run any benchmarks (I will do so later and update this review). The card itself cost me around 245 dollars after rebate and included halflife 2, so I figured it wasnt that bad a deal for me. I sold my 9800 for around 80 dollars to my roomate so it cost me...

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: Great price after promos, fast card, good looking, runs all games

Weakness: A little noisy

I got a great deal on this card, which made it well worth the money. It cuts though all games including Half Life 2, Far Cry, Counter Strike, etc. with no problems. It's not a GT or Ultra, so as long as you don't set the screen resolution at some ridiculous setting, everything will be fine. This card is great looking, with blue neon lights on the fans, and a huge heatsink that keeps things cool....

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: good value for money, has plenty of horsepower for the average gamer

Weakness: may be pricey for some

I got this video card as part of a promotion when combined with a software purchase. Suffice it to say, I got it at a pretty good price after rebates. It's worked pretty well so far. I've been able to play Doom3, HL2, and FarCry, all with very good image quality. I upgraded from a 9600Pro, which was choking on Doom3. I don't have problems with that game anymore. I have this video card hooked up...

Get the Geforce 6800GS, 6800GT, or 7800GS instead

Strengths: Solid performer, Will live on in the future

Weakness: Made of lower grade or damaged chips that are disabled to cover up the inherent flaws

The graphics card itself is not as flashy as the images posted for the card. The metallic surface on the two fans and the copper "heatpipe" looks quickly and poorly constructed. However, the performance of the card lives up to its name. Previously I owned a TNT2 and a 9600 pro so any mode of image quality comparison may be biased but it is a huge improvement. I wasn't able to unlock the piplines...

BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 Graphics Card - 350...

Strengths: This is a good card if you want hardware directx 9.0c support and don't want to pay a lot of money for it.

Weakness: For a little bit more money you can get the GT or Ultra editions which is where the best price point is at.

While granted this card doesn't compare to the GT or Ultra, it was sigfinicantly cheaper through a promo deal that I purchased it at. I was orginaly looking at buying the GT, but this works for now and is a big step up from my Ti4200. Also Half Life 2 looks amazing with it!
