eVGA GeForce 9600 GSO Video CardStrengths: Performance, price, value, dual-slot cooling Weakness: Size, may be too large for some cases The eVGA GeForce 9600 GSO Video Card offers outstanding performance for less than $100. It has 96 stream processors 384 MB GDDR3 memory and 192 bit memory bus. It can pretty much play any modern game out there. The dual-slot cooling design ensures the card doesn't get too hot. On the other hand it does take up two slots and the card may be too long and not fit depending on the case and...

evga 9600 GSO Video cardStrengths: Inexpensive, plays most games. great brand Weakness: not the latest greatest This is a great buy for budget-minded gamers that can play most modern games on medium-to-high settings on this card. it comes with excellent warranty from EVGA and performs well in my PC. excellent buy for everyone other than the hardcore gamer that needs the latest and greatest.

Best PerformanceStrengths: I upgraded to this from GeForce 8400, I found huge performance increase. I can now play all games I have. Dual slot so doesn't get very hot. Weakness: None except very long and only 2 yrs warranty. It covered 2 SATA ports of the mobo but no problem there are 4 free ports. I have been using this card for about a month. I have had great time playing games. I have paired with BIOSTAR TA770 A2 AM2 /AM2 AMD 770 and AMD 5600 , 4 Gigs of DDR2 800, runs like a dream. I don't need a quad core for some time. I haven't played blu-ray disk though.

Great performance and quiet cardStrengths: great performance, quiet Weakness: size bigger than usual card I got this to replace my on board card and the performance is huge different. It also quiet and the fan work good to control the heat. The size of this card is really different from usual card, but since the fan do great job, nothing to complain about.

Good budget card for a great budget priceStrengths: quiet, better cooler for improved cooling, dual dvi Weakness: only 384mb memory, only 192-bit, may not be ideal for high graphics games I bought this card because it was on sale and i was looking for an upgrade. This card ran my games at maximum settings without a hiccup. I haven't tried this card on any high graphics games though. I would recommend this card if your looking for a decent upgrade to your outdated video card.

eVGA GeForce 9600 GSO Video CardStrengths: Dual slot cooling, Direct X 10, PCI Express 2.0 x16 Weakness: n/a I occasionally play the typical PC First person shooter or RPG. Though I don't game that often, my Nvidia GeForce 7900gs has begun to show its age. At about the third of the price I paid for my 7900gs, the 9600gso provides almost 2 times the performance. I have been able to play recent games such as Call of Duty 4 or Brothers in Arms at Medium to High settings at 1680x1050 resolution. I'm very... Advertisement

great graphics card
Strengths: dual slot cooling, DDR3, super quiet
Weakness: huge!!!
bought it when it's on sale on newegg.com. pretty impressive by its performance so far. Very quiet. Dual Slot cooling really works out. compatible w/ DDR3 memory. It also can be overclocked. But so far, I haven't tried it seriously. I would say that it's a great choice/deal for entry level PC.
