Windows XP Professional X64 Edition

Strengths: Excellent Operating system. Very stable, very fast.

Weakness: Limited drivers and some programs do not work. Nikon camera programs do not work and most combo printer/scanners do not have drivers.

It is very similar to XP Pro in appearance. It very stable and faster then the standard verison of XP Pro. I could not make it crash, no matter what I did. Works with most of the older programs. Check for product drivers before you purchase this OS. MS has finally got it together.

BAD windows for gamers

Strengths: cool functions

Weakness: Horrible game performance for ALL games as compared with win xp pro

i did side by side installations with win xp pro and win xp pro x64 edition and the winner was....XP PRO hands down.
xp pro delivered a whopping 50-100 percent increase in game performance with the mose comprehendable example being that of Counter Strike Source. Win the x32 version i recieved about 120-200 fps and with the x64 edition i recieved a horrible 20-60 fps

boo for x64 op systems
