Strengths: Landscape is very good. Weapon choices are numerous when they are available. Mode of travel is also varied-vehicles, boats, gliders, buses. Malaria bouts add realism, but are annoying.
Weakness: Crashes to desktop too often. No fix available. Only solution to restart game is to reboot.
Do a web search for "Far Cry 2" +crash and see how many hits you get. Characters are too talkative. Makes you want to say, "Get to the bloody point!"
